Current radar, we’re going to see some crazy destruction where his eyewall is just sitting, 100+ winds for hours? 😖

Someone was saying Tampa hasn’t seen a direct hit in awhile? I told my uncle something’s wrong, every hurricane turns away like nahhhhh.

Yeah we partied with them on Ebor street I believe it was, good time! Mostly out towards Lutz/Land O Lakes. 
 

Was in Sarasota for that early June tropical system. It was nice kept it cloudy, no sunburn or the heat from hell.

If this were winter, I'd say the coastal is about to take over.

SOUTHWESTERN FLORIDA...

NOAA Doppler radar imagery indicates that the eye of Ian made 
landfall along the southwestern coast of Florida near Cayo Costa 
around 305 PM EDT (1905 UTC). Data from an Air Force Reserve 
reconnaissance aircraft indicate that Ian's maximum sustained winds 
were estimated to be near 150 mph (240 km/h). The latest minimum 
central pressure estimated from reconnaissance data is 940 mb 
(27.75 inches).
