Are you THAT serious JetBlue!? They apparently flew through the eye of Fiona while she was a category 2, and the pilots had the absolute Nerves of Steel to do so!

I can't find the Tweet that has it, but it has been confirmed by either webberweather or Andy Hazelton.

A 1 hour old microwave shot shows the eyewall kinda spiraling outward. I think it could be considered that the inner wall is open on the SW corner, but there is that more secondary wall that I'd guess it's contracting as the eyewall tries to reestablish itself more coherently.

Looks like the highest gusts on forecasts are in the 100-120mph range.

I've never been to Canada, much less that far north or east, but I can't imagine the area is prepared for storm surge like that. I know they get very low pressures with Nor'easters, extremely strong winds, and storm surges... but this is on another level.

I wish there was an easier way to see the surface winds overlapped in this time period. I think the bay area would get the worst of it due to long-lived very strong southeasterly winds., but obviously the area that receives the initial landfall is in trouble.
