Cap was definitely stronger than expected which led to this discrete storm mode. Seems it's also limiting storm strength. There's been a confirmed tornado but the supercell looked really anemic.

An anvil from earlier today. Nice to have frequent storms again. Really has been lacking in SW OH this year.

I believe this was looking at some severe multicell storms over Knoxville.

That one looked a little more convincing than the one that had the confirmed tornado. But I don't think it had a confirmed tornado.  Seems like the CAM models really have a lot of different forecasts for the OH/IN/IL area tomorrow.

Whoa... HRRR is pretty crazy for tomorrow.

Very healthy rear-inflow jet but not like what we've seen with high-end derechos, as if that was expected. Shear was the limiting factor today, which is why the MCS is already past its peak despite being in the middle of the afternoon.

Why does Radarscope display the base velocity differently than GRLevel3?  GRLevel3 shows base velocity 2 of 70 knots (80mph) next to Fort Wayne, but this time frame of Radarscope seems to display a max of 49mph.
