Did you actually see rotation with it? It's hard to tell from the video. Could've been scud

There was definitely rotation. I called it into NWS. They told me 3 other SkyWarn trained spotters called also. There was very rapid rotation before I started recording. It caught me off guard and I couldn't get my phone out in time.

The first sign of the primary severe season coming to an end. New day 1 and day 2 lack even a marginal risk. Probably will be a marginal risk introduced at some point for today and/or tomorrow, but this is a sign of the times.

Pretty nice change around here. Widespread 1-2" for most,.with a few getting 3-4". Heat index will drop for Toledo to around 80, after being 95-100° for most of the past ten days. Well needed relief for the farmers and public.

It looks like an area near Holland or west Toledo got over 4.0" since 8/3. Most areas could be closer to 1.5"+ since that date

Not in my region of interest, but this monsoon season seems to be particularly crazy. I feel like the Southwest has been getting bombarded. And look at western Mexico over the next week.

Entering the time of year where a weak trough over the Great Lakes can pull off a severe weather event. August is the least active warm season severe weather month, but September certainly starts to show signs of the Fall severe weather season because the jet stream starts to strengthen. Especially in terms of tornadoes.

This isn't weather related but the damage did sort of remind me of a strong tornadoes damage just more localized. A couple days ago in Evansville, Indiana, fifty miles or so away from me a large scale gas leak caused an explosion and it did some insane damage. At least 4 houses completely destroyed and 30+ with damage (windows blown out, debris hitting houses, etc)
