Got home, only little more than a half inch.  And further north looks like Indianapolis got missed completely 😞

On the way home there were flooded ditches and water all over the place until I got about half mile from home.

Before I left the woods I got couple pictures of the creek down there filling up. Not as dramatic as in the southwest, but kinda cool. It's been dry for a month

Woah... I haven't seen a brown shade contour for PWATs in the Midwest in a long time

That 2.4 bullseye PWAT in S IL and IN causing pretty big problems in Knox County Indiana. Washed out roads, homes filling up with 2-3 ft of water through A/C vents on Bruceville road, cars trapped on SR 67 in between Vincennes, IN and Bruceville, IN, all per scanner traffic.

EDIT: Rescue boats being called in from surrouding counties as well as drones to check on how many vehicles are trapped on SR 67

@ClicheVortex2014 do you by chance have a radar image you can pull up from this? Curious how it looked at the time.

Sorry for the late response.

Per the survey, it was on the ground from 10:45-10:48. Started 1 mile west of Troy, ended 1 mile SSE of Troy.

First image here is at 10:43, second at 10:48.

Really nothing there. But it was a QLCS tornado so it was small and short-lived... almost entirely occurred between radar scans. Even if it wasn't between radar scans, the rotation was likely below the radar beam because I really doubt there would be rotation visible at 7200 feet. You'd have to be scanning close to the tornado to see it. I'd imagine it was much more apparent on TDAY radar but I can't access that with AWS.

Flooding could start to become a big story with this pattern this week

Arizona's in trouble. That's a lot of rain. Brutal monsoon signature. Also gotta consider the potential for localized higher amounts.

WV might also be in trouble. Day 3 and 4 moderate risk for flash flooding.

Caught some of the noon news on channel 7 at work and they were saying the same thing about the radar beam scanning too far up to catch it.
