Just noticed the cold pool advancing toward the supercell that kinda dissipated on approach. I'd imagine that caused the LCL to lower by at least decreasing the temps on a pretty local scale. The fact that it was dissipating also was probably a huge factor otherwise this tornado probably wouldn't have existed.

Even if I'm wrong on those exact details, it must've helped create this monster because it's no coincidence that this monster happened after this boundary was heading toward it.

Weather is so complex lol

Looks like another tornado. Notice how there's still strong inflow but it's been pushed pretty far away from the tornado. Good sign that this supercell will remain capable of producing strong tornadoes once this cell merger is over

this massive storm had 1 or 2 tornadoes near Morton, merged with the southern cell, had 1 or 2 tornados rain-wrapped, and this:

I would imagine the storm has dropped baseball-sized hail multiple times that didn't get reported, possibly because all people were taking shelter.

possible 7" of rain

Cameron thinks it might've been the dryline which makes far more sense.

I'm hesitant about calling it a dryline... looks more like a weird warm front. Either way, end result was that stronger moisture was advected pretty rapidly.
