Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted May 21, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted May 21, 2022 I’m about to get a bit of a hook kind of feature. Good thing it’s not a stronger rotation because I’m right in the path

NWOhioChaser
Eh, it's what Toledo does best. Misses storms when we need em. Gets storms when we want to see an eclipse. 🤷♂️
Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted May 21, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) No rotation on radar and I can confirm there is no tornado in this “hook” because it’s right over me Edited May 21, 2022 by ClicheVortex2014

Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted May 21, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) Probably gonna be a contender for the most active severe weather day so far this year. Ohio is past peak, but other locations are probably still pre-peak Edited May 21, 2022 by ClicheVortex2014
ElectricStorm
Man you could almost drive from the Mexico border to Maine and be in a severe watch the entire time, just that one gap there in western NY... Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted May 21, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) Absolutely wild. You almost never know this time of year. If you're looking for another good example of supercell tornadogenesis from start to end, look no further than Bassfield 2020 and now this Edit: apparently the tornado has been rated a low-end EF3. Chinook
This is a squall line maybe pushing out some strong winds at Walnut Ridge AR. That's my severe weather game pick for the day. Yesterday, well, I picked Gaylord MI. Yeah. Some days I do not turn out so lucky as to get a tornado within a couple miles of my pick.
