The damage should be to the southwest of the town. Edited May 20, 2022 by Chinook

Chinook
With regard to tomorrow, I don't remember the last time there was a impressive value of supercell composite parameter or forecast updraft helicity tracks in northern Michigan.
Neoncyclone
Looks like the tornado clipped the south side of Mt.Carmel. There are houses down there, can't get close theres 4-5 blocks blocked by police
Neoncyclone
Luckily the majority of the town got away without damage, whole town is without power though, heard the high school was damaged and those 4-5 blocks are apparently hit pretty good, No injuries reported as of now so that's a good deal. Neoncyclone
Most of the damage in Mount Carmel is ef-0 maybe ef-1, here's some drone footage, unfortunately only available on facebook. There is one structure on the south side of town that could swing the rating higher though. I'll post a before and after. https://fb.watch/d7v7gSXuF7/ BEFORE AFTER
