Definitely not surprised to see the entire northern part of the derecho being tornado warned. Warm front does wonders. Won't be surprised to see this extends to the east as the derecho approaches the warm front.

FYI, .13”, no wind or hail here so far.  Got skinny and shot the gap between storms!

🤞nothing else comes up.  This was absolute best case scenario for me.

  Northwestern Kandiyohi County in central Minnesota...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 615 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Milbank to 6 miles southwest of Appleton to
  near Hanley Falls, moving northeast at 85 mph.

  THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR APPLETON AND BENSON.

  HAZARD...100 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 608 PM CDT, Madison airport reported 
           a gust of 94 mph.

  IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris 
           may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile 
           homes will be destroyed. Expect considerable damage to 
           homes and businesses. Expect extensive tree damage and 
           power outages.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Granite Falls and Appleton around 620 PM CDT.
  Maynard and Lake Oliver around 625 PM CDT.
  Clara City around 630 PM CDT.
  Hancock and Raymond around 635 PM CDT.
  Kerkhoven, Chokio and Cyrus around 640 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION with tornado like wind
speeds expected. Mobile homes and high profile vehicles are
especially susceptible to winds of this magnitude and may be
overturned. For your protection move to an interior room on the
lowest floor of a building. These storms have the potential to cause
serious injury and significant property damage.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central and
west central Minnesota.

You can see the intense winds coming in and wrapping around from behind the MCS in northern SD on some reflectivity bands and velocity. Definitely some pretty streaky reflectivity bands.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable

At 655 PM CDT, tornado producing storms were located along a line
extending from near Sica Hollow State Park to Halls Landing to near
Collis, moving north at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Broadcast media confirmed tornado. At 652 PM, a tornado was
         reported 10 miles north of Sisseton.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

These tornadic storms will be near...
  Claire City around 700 PM CDT.
  Rosholt, Victor and Whiterock Colony around 705 PM CDT.
  Immanuel Church around 710 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these tornadic storms include Tintah.
