Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted April 30, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted April 30, 2022 So I guess I overestimated the influence of the loss of daytime heating in the Plains. Gotta be the LLJ.

Hassaywx1223
I just got home from work and saw the Andover tornado. That might be the most textbook science to the tee tornado you may ever see and my god the footage reed got he’s incredible. Prayers to everyone affected
Hassaywx1223
If you have Snapchat go to your snap mail and go to Andover Kansas there’s incredible footage there too
Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted April 30, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted April 30, 2022 (edited) Check out the cold front-meets warm sector here. Damn. Meteorologist Ingyball Posted April 30, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted April 30, 2022 Golf Ball to 2" hail fell on top of Andover after the storm. Not good. We'll see how everything looks tomorrow. Monday could get interesting here with the triple point nearby. NAM has some crazy soundings (one of them contaminated.) Would be bad to get any additional severe storm over Andover so soon. ElectricStorm
Yeah the NAM has some pretty big parameters for OK/KS on Monday. We'll see what 0z GFS and Euro have but I'm thinking we'll see a Day 3 enhanced

Chinook
I hope this doesn't sound dumb. I went out from about 6:45mountain to very recently, so about 3-4 hours. I left my GRLevel3 running on Omaha radar site the whole time. I still can see radar images and reports back to 0121z (7:21PM for me). so it's 3 hours of stuff. I missed a lot, but I can still see some of the archived radar. I guess there was a tornado-warned comma-head type storm next to Lincoln. Certainly that wasn't the main show. did you guys cover the tornado at Mayetta (next to Topeka) at 0153z? or just the southern ones?
