HRRR looks to be spot on with heaviest “accumulation” west of US42 based on the advancement of the rain/snow line and where heavier returns are lining up.

Not upset at all though 😂

Probably peak "pre melt" now despite some back end stuff to move through

Crazy, nothing like that at all here at Polaris. Just a few flakes mixing in with the rain.

Came down at least moderately between 3-5, and looks like it's easing up.

About 1 - 1 1/2 on the ground here (20 miles north of Detroit), but I think the snow is so wet that it's compacted.  Under more "wintertime" conditions, probably at least 3 would be layered.  Streets look just wet.

I suspect the temperature at Midnight last night - probably 40 or so - will prevent today from logging another record "minimum high."

First round winding down here @6:00.  Right at 1” on the snowboard, the usual less elsewhere. More expected later tonight and tomorrow with the same marginal accumulating conditions.  Hanging at 34°, hoping for a couple of degree drop for a picturesque “tree branch coating”.
