Ohiobuckeye45
Cold air is making some noise. Took a little while of back and forth but more snow now than at any point Edited April 18, 2022 by Ohiobuckeye45

junior
Probably a little over a half an inch or so of accumulation. Backend has some great dendrites for adding up.
Ohiobuckeye45
this is crazy lol So fitting for what we said all winter too.....no winter in winter, you get winter in spring 1
OSUWx2
HRRR looks to be spot on with heaviest “accumulation” west of US42 based on the advancement of the rain/snow line and where heavier returns are lining up. Not upset at all though 😂 Edited April 18, 2022 by OSUWx2

NWOhioChaser
Rain/snow mix here. Warm nose coming off the lake so I don't see much in the way of accumulations. But it's...fun to see in mid April! Edited April 18, 2022 by NWOhioChaser

Just a few flakes mixing in with the rain.

easton229
Snowflakes just started coming down here in Detroit. Sounds like 3pm is when the real accumulation should begin here.

NWOhioChaser
Nice coating on everything. Probably a half inch of snow. Mama goose pissed as hell! I will consider this our April winter tease and expect 80 by Saturday!
easton229
Got an inch down here and it’s still coming down at a good rate. Only 33 degrees here.
NWOhioChaser
Didn't know we had to wait until mid- April to get the fattest flakes of the year! 😄
MotownWX
Came down at least moderately between 3-5, and looks like it's easing up. About 1 - 1 1/2 on the ground here (20 miles north of Detroit), but I think the snow is so wet that it's compacted. Under more "wintertime" conditions, probably at least 3 would be layered. Streets look just wet. I suspect the temperature at Midnight last night - probably 40 or so - will prevent today from logging another record "minimum high."
Moderators Hiramite Posted April 18, 2022 Moderators Share Posted April 18, 2022 First round winding down here @6:00. Right at 1” on the snowboard, the usual less elsewhere. More expected later tonight and tomorrow with the same marginal accumulating conditions. Hanging at 34°, hoping for a couple of degree drop for a picturesque “tree branch coating”.
