Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted April 23, 2022 Author Meteorologist Share Posted April 23, 2022 Ridiculous wind field ahead of the developing squall. Should be easy to get damaging winds.

Should be easy to get damaging winds. Between the extreme low-level shear and the 986mb low sitting on the squall, normally I'd say there's gonna be quite a few qlcs tornadoes... but there's a lot of low-level dry air. Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted April 23, 2022 Author Meteorologist Share Posted April 23, 2022 Certainly looks like the squall is trying to put down some tornadoes. Probably won't be many reports regardless due to the rural nature of the area

Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted April 23, 2022 Author Meteorologist Share Posted April 23, 2022 (edited) Given the brief nature of qlcs tornadoes and how rural this area is... so unfortunate that there's a debris signature. It's slightly displaced from the velocity signature but the storm is moving at 65 mph and the debris signature is confirmed with Zdr I see debris up to 5600 feet Edited April 23, 2022 by ClicheVortex2014
