@ClicheVortex2014Can't find the tornado through ARDOT Cameras, is the Mesocyclone weakening, recycling, or Rain-wrapped, the NWS is saying that the tornado is no longer on the ground

Hard to tell without good radar coverage in the first place but it looks like the supercell has transitioned to outflow dominant. That would mean a hail/wind threat more than tornado.

More storms developing in front of it, which may end the tornado threat for this storm by disrupting the Mesocyclone

Not sure i've seen a storm in recent memory that went outflow-dominant and then got an inflow surge, kinda what it looks like to me though.

I agree, def has an inflow surge as of now, we like to see that backwards C to not be conducive for spinning up a tornado

This is causing quite the controversy on the twitter machine.

Interesting statement from SPC's lead forecaster... but it's not necessarily an indictment on LZK's decision to go with tornado emergency.

Jim LaDue is no slouch either and is involved with radar training in the NWS. I'm sure the two of them will be chatting about it in person as well.

Yeah, none of these tornado reports really scream 'tornado' without a doubt.

All of these are filed under tornado reports.

First one could be straight-line wind damage. I haven't seen any pictures suggesting a wedge like the second one says. Third one... top of trees? Fifth one... front of homes damage? Only the front? Possible wind-driven hail. Portable buildings partially destroyed/scattered siding could be straight-line wind.

Cars flipped could go either way.

Not SPC's fault... nor LZK's fault. If someone calls in and says there's a wedge on the ground with a supercell in a Bermuda triangle, doubting the report probably isn't smart.

Only the NWS Surveys will show if these reports are consistent with a Tornado or Straight Line Winds

80 mph winds and 2"+ hail will do a lot of this damage. If there's consideration for a Tor-e your expecting cars to be tossed (not simply flipped over) and at least weaker structures to be destroyed.

Several years ago their WARN radar used to be really good. But then they changed it and it's not the same anymore

KWTV had to end the ESP Radar several years ago, I loved it, but it had a 10 minute delay compared to the Nextgen's 2-3 minute delay.
