MesoscaleBanding
Last frame of RGEM....if extrapolated, would probably bring mixing all the way to I-80 in future frames... 1

Columbusbuckeye
Hey folks, I’m happy to be here on the new board with all of you! As for this storm, I’m anticipating a mixed bag, per usual in Central Ohio.
MesoscaleBanding
Ugh...this is a slow, painful death for the I-70 corridor. Unless we see a correction back south, the mid-range performance of the GFS is looking pretty bad compared to the Euro/CMC/ICON Edited February 21, 2022 by MesoscaleBanding

OSUWx2
Not the FRAM map, but this still shows the primary focus for ice. Give me rain over freezing rain, plz. 1 1

MesoscaleBanding
This includes sleet, but it's showing 10:1 ratio...I believe sleet is typically a 2:1 to 3:1 ratio. I post it only to give an idea of where the 'concrete zone' will be - an inch or two of snow, an inch of sleet, some zR - GROSS Can we just get ONE decent, pure snow event down this way before spring?! Apparently not. Edited February 21, 2022 by MesoscaleBanding 3
adurb44
Well, look on the bright side. KY looks to get in on some nice weekend action, again. I'd love to find snowfall totals for some of the major cities in KY over the last decade.

Not as "warm" as the GFS as CMH rides the sleet/frza line for the entire event.

junior
I'll take the ice over rain. Riding a fine line here on the GFS though... any warmer and its pure rain. Edited February 21, 2022 by junior
