I'd be happy with .25" for the scenery, I just have a feeling it may end up panning out where the sleet takes over. We'll see though, not all models suggest the shallower warm layer

The 12k NAM is too low of a resolution model to use inside this range. 12k resolution is like trying to use a machete for a job that requires a scalpel.
easton229
Hard to believe how crappy the weather will be tonight and tomorrow morning. Been a beautiful sunny day all day here in SEMI. Still cold, cold, cold, but nice to see the sun.

Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted February 24, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted February 24, 2022 Pretty wild how little ice you need to see impacts. Not even a tenth of an inch. 1

MesoscaleBanding
This morning, ILN was calling for a high of 34-35F in my part of Delaware county - Temperature hasn't been able to get past 32F all day & ILN has lowered the daytime high to 32F. I think this bodes well for not having to deal with any plain rain north of Columbus metro overnight.

Dewpoints are in the low to mid 20's, so temp will drop some when precip comes in, but yeah, I think we may dodge the worst of this.
