Comparing 0z NAM3 and meso.  Looking at the 850mb low.  It looks like the hires NAM is either a touch shower, or weaker with this initial wave.  Note the L on the NAM3, slightly cooler out in front in southern Ohio into southern PA, but a touch warmer in southern Indiana and Illinois.   Looking at the wind barbs, I think the meso has that lead L rippling along slower, in S IL instead of the NAM having it near the IN/OH border.   Not sure of the impact, if any, but a slight difference.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total sleet and snow
accumulations of up to one half inch and ice accumulations of
one to two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of East Central and Southeast Indiana and
Central, Southwest and West Central Ohio.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain and freezing rain will develop this
afternoon changing to mostly freezing rain tonight, although
some sleet may mix in. This wintry mix may briefly change to
snow before ending tonight.
