...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of East Central and Southeast Indiana,
  Northern Kentucky and Central, Southwest and West Central Ohio.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

Not to distract from the current situation, but the Springdale, AR tornado from last night has been upgraded to an EF3. First EF3 in Tulsa's CWA in a long time. I'll have to go back and look later but I can't remember any off the top of my head in the last few years.

That has got to be a terrible feeling. You get hit by one tornado and then you have to worry about another one following it up. You're out searching and surveying and some people have no place to go. Terrible. Hopefully everyone stays safe

   Areas affected...central AL

   Concerning...Tornado Watch 80...

   Valid 310320Z - 310445Z

   The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 80 continues.

   SUMMARY...Significant tornado threat will likely continue in central
   AL through 12am CDT.

   DISCUSSION...An intense pair of supercells will likely move
   northeast across parts of central AL during the next 1-2 hours.  The
   warm sector supercells will continue to reside in an increasingly
   moisture-rich airmass (mid 60s deg F surface dewpoints) and buoyant
   environment co-located with intense low- to mid-level flow.  A
   significant tornado risk will likely accompany these storms.
