To say that I'm not happy with the polygons that LIX put out is an understatement. The polygon that was put out over St. Tammany parish when that storm crossed Lake Pontchartrain was horrible. The polygon made it seem like it would take a straight due east motion, instead the storm hugged the western edge of the polygon. Any occlusion of a tornado could have put people just outside the polygon in danger. Then when they confirmed the tornado on that storm and the storm moved out of the old polygon they just left it there for a solid 10 to 15 minutes. Seems like they let it expire instead of cancel it due to the storm moving out. That's a big no no. Was frustrating to see.
