JDClapper
Little bit of a gap that needs filled, but radar seems to point towards periods of moderate maybe heavy at times upstream.
JDClapper
Very tiny sleet and flurries.. Mountain to the south is slowly fading so expecting the switch to snow soon. Didn't expect onset sleet though.
MDBlueridge
Sleet storm here atm. 32.9F Started with snow, now sleet. And as I type a few fatty tattys mixing in. Meteorologist so_whats_happening Posted March 9, 2022 Meteorologist Share Posted March 9, 2022 Looks like the battle is setting up around just north of Lancaster and around Harrisburg. Heavier precip starting to move in but man are those temps warm 38/30 back at the house. All rain here at BWI with 40/38 so no chance of flakes. See if i see any on the ride home.
Admin MaineJay Posted March 9, 2022 Author Admin Share Posted March 9, 2022 22° with a dew of 18°. It's overcast, so we will see how warm it gets today. Precip hopefully holds off till the afternoon, got a little standing seam metal roof to finish up. Even a tiny bit of frozen precip would make it a bit of a sketchy job.
JDClapper
Warmed up to 35, from 32, in the past hour. Trying to flurries more steady, but fighting the dry air at the moment.

JDClapper
Steady light snow finally, edges of rooves visibily dusted.. I see radar filling in that hole upstream. I suppose it is about to be go time 1

Bradjl2009
Just woke up to heavy snow in Pittsburgh. Coming down hard enough it's sticking to the pavement even! The GFS looks like it's winning for this event locally as the Canadian and nam were both pretty warm with rain when I checked overnight 3

All season, bullseye even at 24 hours out, shifts west or north.. maybe there's an exception I am missing, but unbelievable how much close range shifts there have been this season. Light snow, everything except pavement taking on accums at the moment.

BigMirg
Approaching an inch already! Woot! Lol. You know it’s been a rough winter on the mountain when you’re cheering an inch. 66852635744__B363AEA5-E8B3-4440-8B00-D29AAAF2BCEE.MOV 1
Undertakerson2.0
Getting some really decent dendrites with these increased rates. I know you don't care, but I just wanted to say "dendrites" once more before the season closes 😛
