Man, central PA and NY getting douched, here in CNJ we had one small tropical downpour around 7:30am this morning and has been breezy and cloudy ever since. Looks like we are going to miss out on the biblical rains and even the severe storms seem to be becoming more scattered later this evening instead of one large band moving through. Supposed to end around 1am tomorrow and be 89 and sunny all day tomorrow!
Yup, yesterday was a little bit of everything for an early April storm, rain was ridiculous non-stop, thunder sporadic throughout the day and then around 5:30p it started hailing. Can't wait for this pattern to end!!
Its amazing there is a winter component to this storm, so much qpf/moisture associated with it that I wouldn't be surprised to hear of somewhere getting 40" in northern Maine. It rained here hard for 18 hours nonstop, flooding everywhere.
