  1. I'm just a layman but 9 years is almost a decade and it's a decadal oscillation. So in my mind that tracks.
  2. Yeah of course your right why should we expect anything to change when the main culprit just keeps doubling down (-pdo) But at the same time - it's right there in the name. OSCILLATION. At some point it has to oscillate right back the other way. Right? Right?
  3. What gave it away? The fact the hurricane ended before it has even made landfall?
  4. I'd watch that for hours. Always imagine being on a wooden ship out there
  5. That's just so standard for every hurricane I wonder if it's just boilerplate tacked on there. A storm as well organized as this putting the entire peninsula on the northeast quadrant I'd say Stevie wonder saw an outbreak coming. I'm thinking they didn't dig into it at that lead time for whatever reason. 50+ warnings going on at once is some serious stuff, it definitely would have been better if they played it up more. But at the end of the day you can't evacuate for tornados.
  6. Also I really think thay eye is trying to clear out like right now
  7. If they're going to sail into a damn hurricane the least they could do is show the waves. Very disappointed. Also, maybe better to just avoid the hurricane but what do I know. Maybe they're nautical hurricane hunters gathering data.
  8. They're both kind of too busy hiding from Israel at the moment to be doing anything with the weather honestly
