Snow has started in Toledo. Hopefully we get no changeover to rain.

12Z GFS inline with NAM now showing more snow for Toledo than previously stated. Pivotal shows 8" Not sure that actually happens but rain/snow line looking to be further south ATM.

It's just not meant to be. I'd like to say "on to the next one" but don't see anything 384 hours out lol.

The Canadian is the only one showing temperature profiles cold enough to give more snow than rain. To the other more advanced weather fans, is the cold air intrusion being underplayed? I find it hard to believe with this pattern that there is this much significant rain that far north?

Latest update from Toledo Mets: Tracking winter storm into Friday/Saturday Significant winds picking up into Saturday Chances for significant snowfall in areas but too early to give amounts - did mention model variability. Better idea of fine details late tomorrow.
