    Btw, Syracuse gets crushed even more than Buffalo!! See the snow map

    That’s correct. There was accumulation north of and in downtown Buffalo but the largest accumulations were south. Same with a storm earlier in December that netted us two feet but not much in the city and last year’s pre-Thanksgiving storm where we got FIVE feet of snow. Crazy stuff

    No visibility in blizzard like conditions on the southeast side of Lake Erie

    The news is reporting this as mainly a Buffalo and northtowns event. We got 3ft down in Derby (southtowns)

    we moved here 2 years ago. Winters in 2020 and 2021 were fairly mild so we were thinking what's the big deal about Buffalo snow? well, here we go. been quite the winter already. 5 ft on Nov 17/18 and 2 ft last weekend. will be hard to measure after this weekend's snowstorm because of the high wind and the drifts
