  1. Two more pix from last night. One taken by me on my iPhone, the other by an actual photographer on a real camera.
  2. Feel very fortunate on the clouds holding off on 2 nights. Dark skies don’t help when it’s cloudy! Also had a near-full moon behind me last night, lighting up the butte. Surprised at how few of the hotel guests came out to watch… just three others.
  3. I am on a road trip with my uncle in the high desert southwest. One pic is from Saturday out of a hotel window in Albuquerque, and the other is from tonight in Monument Valley within the Navajo Nation of Arizona. Cloudy skies the other nights. Both shot on iPhone with 3-second exposure.
  4. He just got power back about an hour ago, and he’s under a boil-water advisory. Thank you for asking!!
  5. Got these at about 10:30EDT last night from a farm outside town. iPhone 3 second exposure. To the naked eye it was barely distinguishable as a rosy smudge across the sky glow. Moon was setting behind one group of trees…
  6. Long iPhone exposures from a farm nearby… just a smudge of rosy hue in the skyglow
  7. Have yet to hear from my uncle in St Pete, so I believe he’s now without juice and cell service.
  8. I gotta guess it’s the weather station at their Gilbert Field. Hasn’t reported an update since 9:53?
